By creating a hole with the same profile and same size that the deployed soil moisture sensor, this tool eliminates the need to dig and fill holes.
The pilot rod screws on the sliding hammer, which plunges the rod into the ground, creating the required profile.
After removing the stem, the soil moisture sensor can be easily pushed into the ground.
Once the sensor is deployed, the ground will relax around it, filling the voids and establishing the necessary contact for specific measures of the'soil moisture.
