Bluetooth water level recorder MX2001-XX-XX
The first data recorder de water level industry offering simplified and cost-effective data collection through technology Bluetooth.
It allows access wireless to data on water level and temperature accurate from apparatus mobile or'windows computers via the free app HOBOconnect of'Onset.
The MX2001-S consists of a high-end bluetooth unit and of a water level sensor
Direct reading cable: CABLE-DR-XXX to be controlled separately
Important:
Requires HOBOconnect, the mobile app HOBOconnect is available for free download from Apple's App Store, Google Play or the website Onset.
The first data recorder de water level industry configuration and download wireless practice via technology Bluetooth. Simplifies and significantly reduces the cost of field data collection by providing wireless access to water level and water level data temperature high accuracy directly from a phone portable, one tablet or windows computer running the free application HOBOconnect of'Onset.
It consists of a high-end unit and a water level sensor that are sold as a set. One direct reading cable is necessary to connect them. Cables can be controlled in lengths of 0.2 to 500 m for deployment in a wide range of well.
Technical specifications:
- Unloading wireless data to mobile devices or Windows computers via Bluetooth
- The integrated barometric pressure sensor allows direct reading of the water level
- The direct reading cable connects the sensor to the high-end recorder/transmitter
- The cable includes a Kevlar resistance element
- Cables are interchangeable so that recorders are easy to redeploy in future applications
- Recorder and sensor add 0.39 meters to cable length
- Cable length can vary up to 3% of the length ordered
- Cable lengths of 1, 5, 10, 15, 30 and 60 metres are in stock; custom cable lengths have a delay of 1 to 2 weeks
-Reference water level can be entered at the beginning of deployment
- Use HOBOconnect for configuration, data visualization and data sharing
- Powered by two AA batteries replaceable by the user in the high-end unit
- Several logging modes: normal logging, multi-rate logging, and event-driven gust logging
- Durable ceramic sensor
- Available with stainless steel or titanium sensor ends
- NIST traceable calibration certificate in 3 points included for the water pressure sensor
Temperature measurements:
- Operating range: -20° to 50°C (-4° to 122°F)
- Accuracy: ±0.44°C from 0° to 50°C, see manual for plot (± 0.79°F from 32° to 122°F)
- Resolution: 0.1°C at 25°C, see manual for plotting (0.18°F to 77°F)
- Response time (90%): 5 minutes in water (typical)
- Stability (driving): 0.1°C per year (0.18°F per year)
Recorder Features:
- Operating range: -20° to 50°C (-4° to 122°F)
- Radio power: 1mW (0dBm)
- Transmission range:
Approximately 30.5 m of sight line
Approximately 100 feet of direct visibility

- Log rate: 1 second at 6 p.m
- Log modes: fixed interval or multiple intervals with up to 8 intervals and recording times defined by the user, or gust
- Memory modes: wrap when full or stop when full
- Start modes: immediate, date and time or next interval
- Stop modes: when memory is full, date and time or after a specified recording period
- Accuracy of the time: ±1 minute per month 0° to 50°C (32° to 122°F)
- Battery : Two AA alkaline batteries, 1.5 V, replaceable by user
- Battery life: 1 year, typical with a recording interval of 1 minute
Faster recording and/or sampling intervals of statistics, bursting into recording mode, excessive readings, checking the details of the complete state and staying connected to the application will have an impact on the battery life.
- Memory: 256 Kb memory (30,000 series of measurements)
- Full memory download time: about 2 minutes, can take more time the device is away from the top end of the recorder.
