Description

Designed for long-term monitoring of the pH in estuaries lakes streams rivers and oceans, this recorder uses technology Bluetooth to communicate wireless with free app HOBOconnect of'Onset run on your mobile device or Windows computer, making configuration, calibration and unloading of data quick and easy.
In addition calibration process guided pH in the HOBOconnect application facilitates the monitoring of a process that is otherwise complicated.
This recorder compact and approachable provides data high resolution and significantly reduces the time and effort required to collect them.

Technical specifications:

- Guided pH calibration following the on-screen invitations in the HOBOconnect application
- Robust PVC housing for deployment in freshwater and salt water environments
- Fast and easy unloading of data via Bluetooth to mobile devices or Windows computers
- Water detection system for longer battery life and less maintenance
- Potentiometric pH electrode with plastic body, gel electrolyte and fabric double junction
- User-replaceable battery, pH electrode and copper protection
- Accuracy of ±0.10 pH units at ±10°C temperature during calibration

Features of the pH sensor:

- Range: pH 2.00 to 12.00 (-512 to 512 mV)
- Accuracy: ±0.10 pH units at ±10°C temperature during calibration (±0.20 mV)
- Resolution: 0.01 pH (0.02 mV)
- Response time: typical 1 minute at 90% at constant temperature in agitated water
- Sample ion strength: ≥ 100 μS/cm

Sensor Features temperature:

- Range: -2° to 50°C (28.4° to 122°F)
- Accuracy: ±0.2 °C (±0.36 °F)
- Resolution - 0.024 °C at 25 °C (0.04 °F to 77 °F)
- Response time: typical 7 minutes at 90% in agitated water

Recorder Features:

- Operating range: -2° to 50°C (28.4° to 122°F) - without frost
- Flottability:
Fresh water: 13.6 g (0.48 oz) negative
Salt water: 19.6 g (0.69 oz) negative
- Waterproof: up to 40 m (131.2 feet)
- Water detection: a water conductivity level of 100 μS/cm or more is required for reliable water detection, deionized water or water below 100 μS/cm may not be detected.
The water conductivity circuit may not reliably detect the water that has frozen around the electrodes, i.e. below 0°C (32°F).
