Waterproof recorder AU-003-64 compatible with most rain gauges
THE'recorder data waterproof UA-003-64 measurement precisely on precipitation, compatible with most rainfall meters to standard tilting tip, it effectively collects the momentary contact data and temperature.
It also allows access to detailed event data but requires a solar radiation shield for accurate measurement of temperature in sunlight.
Important:
Requires software HOBOware Pro for configuration, graphical representation and data analysis, a uSB optical base station or a waterproof HOBO shuttle (U-DTW-1).

THE'waterproof recorder a contact input UA-003-64 measures precipitation to determine the rates: heures and duration precipitation, for deployment with most pluviometers with tilting tip standard.
Collect and store effectively momentary contact events and temperature data.
In addition, access detailed event data, which are only stored at the time of the event, for better use of the memory.
For one precise measurement of the temperature to the sunlight, one solar radiation shield is necessary (RS1 solar radiation shield to be assembled or pre-assembled M-RSA solar radiation shield).
Technical specifications:
- Ideal for recording precipitation with tipper rain gauges
- Record momentary contact points or closures and temperature
- Event-based data storage provides detailed data and efficient use of memory
- Stores more than 16,000 peaks (160" precipitation with a 0.01" rain gauge)
- Includes scaling in inches, millimetres or other units
- For an autonomous precipitation recorder, see HOBO RG3, a rain gauge with an integrated recorder.
Features: External event input
- Event sensor: Two-wire interface suitable for measuring mechanical and electrical contact closures
- Maximum input frequency: 1 Hz (1 pulse per second)
- Locking time: 500 ms
- Minimum pulse width: 1 ms (material anti-rebond)
- Input/output impedance: 100 k
- Front detection: Down front, contact closure or Schmitt trigger buffer
- Preferred type of switch: normally open.
For a maximum battery life, the event input must be used with its preferred type of switch.
The recorder will operate with normally closed switches, but the battery life will be compromised.
- Open circuit input voltage: battery voltage; nominally 3.0 V
- Maximum input voltage: Battery voltage + 0.3 V
- User login: 24 AWG, 2 threads: white (+), black (-)
