The speed sensor and wind direction ultrasonic smart S-WCG-M004 is solid and compact, and contains no moving parts.
It can measure speeds de wind very low, up to 0.4 m/s (compared to mechanical sensors measuring from 1.0 m/s).

Compact and robust without moving parts, this sensor to ultrasound is capable of measure of the speeds wind very low, up to 0.4 m/s (compared to 1.0 m/s for our mechanical sensors).
As with all smart sensors of the mark Onset, this sensor is plug-and-play with HOBO stations (RX3000, RX2100, USB Micro Station, H22 and U30-NRC).
Because it is automatically recognized by HOBO stations, there is no need for programming, which allows for a deployment fast and easy.
The sensor is powered by its own integrated solar panel.
