Description

The sensor of alternating current T-MAG-SCT-100 is a current transformer to split kernel designed to measure precisely the ac passing through a current-bearing wire.
This power transformer is used to measure electrical current in electrical applications electrical monitoring.
It allows to obtain a precise measurement electric current running in an electric conductor, usually for the monitoring, the measurement, the energy management or diagnostic of electrical systems.
The sensor can measure currents in a nominal range from 10 to 100 A (ampers) accurately.
The T-MAG-SCT-100 produces a electrical output, generally as a tension, which is proportional to the current passing through it, the output is 333 mV (millivolts) per ampere (A), it thus provides a voltage value proportional to the measured current.
The transformer has a linearity accuracy of ± 1 %, thus guaranteeing a precise measurement power, even at different current levels.
It is accurate within a range of 10% to 130% of the nominal current, which means that it can provide reliable measures even when the current varies in this range.
As it is a split kernel transformer, it can be installed without cutting or disconnecting the current carrier wire, just pass the wire through the'31.75 mm opening (1.25'') of the sensor for installation.

Cables included: The ac current sensor comes with 8-foot (2.44 m) 22 AWG twisted pair cables, which simplifies its installation and its connection to measuring devices.
